This my $10,000 painting. Because that is what the damage is when the elk is in the field. Elks really don't eat onions but there hoofs chew them up and eat the profits. It' s now hanging in an onion growers office.
I am an artist raised in Las Vegas, living in Hermiston Oregon. Thanks to my neighbor Cheryl Griggs who showed me how to clean my brushes and other things about oil painting and also my art guild Crafts on the dry side. I have also taken art classes at Blue Mountain Community College.
I am inspired to do this blog by a painting a day artists Duane Keiser and Darren Maurer. And I plan to do at least one painting a week. I miss a few posts when my camera or scanner won't work or I forget how to get into my blog.
